Polly Betzner Milford is the Resource Specialist Teacher (RSP) at Integrity Charter School. After falling in love with the Integrity community during her first year on campus, she is thrilled to begin a full school year supporting students, families, and staff. Ms. Milford is passionate about helping every student reach their potential through inclusive, individualized instruction while building confidence, belonging, and meaningful relationships.
Known to students as Ms. Polly, she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Orange Coast College before receiving a bachelor’s degree in Business and Fashion Merchandising from InterContinental College in Atlanta, Georgia. She also attended the University of Georgia and has held her real estate license for more than 20 years. Later in life, after her children were nearly grown, she returned to school to earn her master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Secondary Education. She spent five years teaching physical education, took a seven-year break, and then returned to education, earning her Special Education certification. She is proud to serve students in the National School District.
Originally from Memphis, Ms. Milford enjoys acting, writing, and giving back to her community. She is the author of You’ve Got Daddy Issues and appeared in the documentary The Invisible Pilot, which tells the story of her relationship with her father. She is actively involved in homeless outreach through her church and is currently helping develop Daddy Fields of Hope, a community soccer field project in Victoria de Guadalupe, Mexico.
Above all, she treasures her family. She is the proud mother of two amazing adult children, ages 28 and 25, and adores her little dog, Coco. Her son has started his own company, where her daughter also works, and they are the love of her life. Her mother helped start Federal Express and is her best friend. A fun fact about Ms. Milford is that she is Elvis Presley’s third cousin. She is excited to continue growing with the Integrity community and looks forward to making this school year a memorable one for every student she has the privilege to teach.
