Miss Amy Merryman

Miss Merryman was born and raised in San Diego. She attended UCSD, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in human development, teaching credential, and Master’s of Education. She joined the Integrity team as a 1st-grade teacher in the fall of 2020. This will be Miss Merryman’s third year teaching 1st grade at ICS... she could not be more excited! Her goal as a teacher is to create a safe, supportive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel comfortable participating and taking risks. Miss Merryman wants her students to know that everything they do - making mistakes, learning, and growing - they will do together! She warmly welcomes all into the Integrity family.

When Miss Merryman is not teaching, you can find her coaching youth volleyball or playing volleyball herself. She also enjoys writing, running, being in nature, cheering on the Padres, and spending time with her wonderful family and friends.
