Kristen Haw

Kristen Haw is from Grass Valley, California. She moved to Southern California to attend University of California Irvine. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature and a minor in Linguistics. She lived in Barcelona, Spain for one year to study the language and travel. She continued her education by receiving her teaching credential from CSU Long Beach. 

She moved to San Diego with her husband in 2012, and has been teaching in National City ever since. She taught 1st Grade at Integrity for 8 years, 3rd grade for 2 years, and now Kindergarten for the 2026/2027 school year. She loves to inspire young readers and make learning fun!

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, husband, and greyhound rescue. She loves to travel, read, watch movies and stay active.
