Ms. Briana Awad

Briana is in her 10th year of teaching and her 4th year at ICS. She previously taught 1st grade, worked as a Flex teacher and is now excited to be teaching 4th grade for the first time! Briana earned her undergraduate degree from Pittsburg State University and her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. She was born and raised in Kansas City but followed her dreams out to San Diego where she enjoys the sunshine and beaches! Briana is a big Kansas City Chiefs fan and a Taylor Swift enthusiast. In her free time, Briana enjoys being outside, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling!
