Ms. Brenda Ramos - "Coach B"

Brenda Ramos is the PE teacher at ICS and the kids call her Coach B. She was born and raised in sunny San Diego! She grew up playing sports since she was five years old. She was offered a college softball scholarship for a catcher position but then broke her ankle during her senior year. Her coach then offered her to return the following school year as an adult to coach the JV softball team, and that is where she discovered her passion for coaching sports.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and a Master’s degree in Education from Grand Canyon University. She has been teaching for five years. She strives to support her students reach their goals by focusing on teamwork and sportsmanship. 

In her free time, she likes to hang out with her family, friends, and two Dobermans. She likes to play and watch sports, go to the beach, swim, and cook.
