Mr. Alex Olson

Mr. Olson will be returning to ICS to teach 6th Grade English Language Arts.  He is looking forward to another fun and challenging year, especially getting to know his students and helping them on their journey to success in their first year of middle school and beyond.  He was born and raised in San Diego and majored in English Literature at UC Santa Cruz before earning his single subject credential at and Master of Arts in Teaching at San Diego State.  In his free time, Mr. Olson enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Shawnee, dog Rusty, cat Craven, and his wonderful daughter Scarlett.   Hobbies include cooking, reading, travelling, and fantasy football.
