Mr. Robert McLean

Robert G. McLean Jr. was born in Long Island, New York. His family moved to Central California when he was in 2nd grade. In 1992, he completed his Bachelor Degree at Chico State University in Business Administration, Marketing. Mr. McLean moved to San Diego, got married, had two boys and worked as a Business Executive for several large corporations. While his sons were in Elementary School, he often volunteered and always enjoyed helping in their classrooms.

Mr. McLean became seriously interested in a career in Education. He wanted to teach and have a positive influence on children’s lives. He went back to school and received a Master’s Degree in Multiple Subjects Education from the University of Phoenix, in 2016. In February 2017, He was hired at Integrity Charter School and this will be his 9th year. He tought two years 5th grade, three years 4th grade and this will be his 4th year as an Social Emotional Learning (SEL) teacher.

Mr. McLean has a Cleared Multiple Subject Education Credential and Single Subject Credential in Physical Education. He has two wonderful sons 21 and 25 years old, who are growing into fine young men. Each day, He makes an honest effort to maintain a healthy mind, body and outlook on life. He values quality time with his family and friends. He also tries to set aside some time for himself for personal reflection. Mr. McLean’s hobbies are simple ones, but nevertheless enjoyable and gratifying. They include woodworking, exercising, biking, camping, and most sports.
