My Name is Robert G. McLean Jr. I was Born in Long Island NY and moved several times in my life. I moved from NY to Reseda CA. in 1st grade. Then, to Scottsdale AZ. in 9th Grade, back to Redondo beach CA. in 11th grade.

I have a 1993 Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Marketing at California State University, Chico (3.99 GPA). I am married with two boys 15 and 18 years old. I have over 15 years’ background knowledge in Business, Sales Management with major corporations such as AT&T, ADT Security Services and Coverall North America, Inc., San Diego, CA.

I have a recent 2015 Master’s Degree in Multiple Subject Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix with a 3.99 GPA. The study covered Common Core Standards in English Language Reading Development and Special Learner instruction. My studies also included Project Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math. (S.T.E.A.M) Based Learning and integration.

I want to empower school children. I enjoy and have a strong passion to educate young minds and help them flourish into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. Through my education at the University of Phoenix and Student Teaching experiences, I have had opportunities to teach and observe diverse groups of students, including those with ELL and learning disabilities. Those who performed at grade level and those who were not. I have proved to be advanced in designing stimulating lesson plans which accommodate multiple intelligence's with a hands-on approach to learning, as well as, managing to keep students interested and focused.

My greatest strengths include inspiring and motivating students. I actively engaged in their excitement to learn by incorporating a variety of manipulates, enjoyable activities, and cooperative learning projects. In addition, I am approachable and strive to get to know the students to build report, and a positive learning environment. I design lesson plans to meet their individual interests as well as demonstrate direct connections between classroom everyday life.
