Mrs. Rodriguez was part of the visionaries who sought to build a school that would foster an environment of community and educate students both in their academics and their character. She enjoys teaching so greatly that it has drawn her continually to the classroom for twenty-nine years. After 17 years, or just this year, she left her classroom to become a support teacher for first grade. Her passion and desire are to make learning fun and to provide a memorable experience for each of her students.
Education: She graduated from LaVerne University with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and obtained a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Outside of school, she loves to spend time with her family (and yes, that includes "Gracie" her family dog). Her favorite pastime is to read her favorite book—the Bible. She also enjoys teaching theology to adults on Wednesday evenings.
“Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education.”
