Friendly Reminder!

Please check and sign your child's homework planner daily. The homework planner will indicate homework assignments and reminders.
Everyday your child is assigned a reading log for 30 minutes/activity, Spelling or Vocabulary activity, and a Math assignment.

Note: Students should read books within their ZPD level for their reading log, which was given during the report card conference. This will help improve their comprehension and fluency. If you need to check the book's level go to www.arbookfind.com. Students will be tested on the books that they read once they finish their book. Please take your child to the public library to check out both fiction and nonfiction books. Thank you!

Great news! We will be using a Zingy Learning which has many Science animated lessons that are aligned with CA Science Standards. Towards the end of the year students will be taking the Science California State Test (CST).  These  animated videos & lessons  will help students review and learn in an exciting way. Students will be given their user names and passwords  in class tomorrow. They will be able to watch them at school and at home. Enjoy!
